going offline and news

Good morning, friends.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Ours was good.  Anthony and I continue to press in to the things of God and trust Him for unanswered prayers.  And even when God is silent, He is so near. So present.  So faithful in the silence. We’re finding rest and peace in simply knowing that His promises are true–yesterday, today, and forevermore.

Abiding.

I wanted to quickly let you all know that my blog won’t be accessible tomorrow and Wednesday.  We’re switching over all of the content from the past six years to a WordPress blog site. It’s a LOT. My new blog looks amazing and I’m excited to have a new look.

I just read an update from the Monteleone family.  “ONE LESS!!! BEST.DAY.EVER!!!!”  One little life redeemed….finally!  I will share some pictures of Emma’s Gotcha Day as soon as I can.  THANK YOU to all of you who have supported this family financially over the past few days.  The amazing news is that they need just a little over $4000 to be FULLY FUNDED!  How amazing is our God?  How faithful are His people to care when there is a need?   What a gift from heaven it would be for them  to have this last amount covered by the time they come home later this week!

The total on their fundraising page needs to hit $14,000 for their adoption expenses to be fully covered.  Go to the link on THIS POST to help them cross the finish line.  Julie shared with us last week that it feels impossible to raise the last $10,000 they need.  Nothing is impossible for the Almighty Father!  What a tangible, redeeming blessing it has been for this family that has fought so hard for their Emma!

In other news, things continue to move along with the process to adopt our embryo babies.  I have a phone consultation with the doctor at my new clinic this week.  “Move every obstacle, Lord Jesus!”  I am so grateful for all of your love and support after I shared the last video.  Some have asked me why we’re doing the videos. I must admit, it’s a very stretching thing for me.  Putting my life and my family’s out there in an even more public way is a wee bit tough.  But when we were asked to partner with Snowflake® to share our journey to create a documentary which would bring an awareness to the hundreds of thousands of embryos that are frozen in this country, after much prayer, we agreed. We agreed because this is the Kingdom of God expanding on the earth!  We said yes to the LORD because if this means that eyes will be opened and hearts will be willing to give just one of these frozen babies a chance at LIFE, well, then it’s worth it. Every child matters to God–whether they’re living in a desperate place and need rescuing, or if their lives are frozen in time…they ALL deserve a chance.  And there is nothing that we would not do to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a child.

Have a beautiful week, everyone.  May His amazing grace and His mercy astound you this week.
