Exactly fourteen years ago, the Lord gave me a promise.
The gift of a daughter.
He named her.
“Hannah-Claire.”
Soon after, we conceived our third child.
Thirteen years ago on August 30th, we were blessed with a son. A gift from God!
And in an orphanage on the other side of the world, a beautiful two-year-old celebrated her second birthday on the same day.
Our daughter! Born on the same day as her brother–the day we knew she would be born.
Destined to share their birthdays by the ONE who never makes mistakes.
The glorious, miraculous promises of God fulfilled.
Happy 13th and 15th birthdays, our precious teenagers. No words can ever express how much we love you both…
…and how thankful we are that His ways are so much better, so much more amazing than we could ever, ever have dreamed possible.
