Goodness gracious, it’s been a crazy few days!
God has been good. So amazingly good. We have moved through every stage in the paperwork chase to bring sweet Hasya home very quickly. The Lord has been so gracious to us and has put the right people before us every single time we have moved to the next stage in the process.
Then it came time to applying for the final piece of paperwork, the I800A visa which gives us government approval to adopt from a Hague country. Anyone who has ever adopted internationally knows that this is where the brakes usually come on and things come to a grinding halt!
We submitted our application, and instead of waiting for the date they assign us to have our biometrics (fingerprints) done, we got in the car the day after we received the notification and drove two hours from home to walk in and have it done.
Oh my goodness! The LORD once again went before us. He gave us a kind, caring, and compassionate woman in the government who promised me that she would do everything she could to expedite our application.
And she stayed true to her word!
Just seven days after beginning the review process for our application….
WE ARE APPROVED!
We have the last piece paperwork we need to submit our dossier to Bulgaria! This coming week we will receive the original in the mail and our dossier will be mailed.
We are rejoicing and praising the LORD for His faithfulness. The lover of the orphan has truly moved mountain upon mountain to enable us to bring Hasya home as fast as is humanly possible.
Nothing is impossible for Him. Nothing!
