life right now

We’ve had such a beautiful weekend.  I love these days when my family is all together under the same roof.  I cherish them.  As the weeks roll on and Anthony continues to commute, it’s getting tough.  I miss having him here and the kids miss their Dad.  This time of separation during the week has made me all the more grateful for the man whom God gave me for life.  I am beyond blessed to call him my husband.

We’re trusting the LORD to make a way as we place our lives in His hands.  “Have your way, Lord Jesus!”

Our days have been so busy.  I know I owe you all kinds of updates on the kids.  Soon.  I promise. Being alone during the week means that my time is so stretched and my camera very neglected.

I will tell you that Hasya is doing so, so well.  And so is Kael.  They are such priceless treasures.  We simply cannot imagine life without them here with us.

I captured this sweet shot of Little Miss Teenager and her beloved dog yesterday.  Every family needs a Cody.  He is just the most awesome dog.  We adopted Cody from a shelter years ago.  He has been such a precious addition to our family.  Hasya loves the feel of him (which is so lovely because she cannot see him).

Anthony and I sat in church this morning and could not help but get all tearful.  We felt God awakening us and stirring us once again in such a deep way.  If you haven’t watched any of the new My Hope America movies by Billy Graham, you really are missing out.  Our church has been showing them, and they are beyond amazing.  How desperately the world needs those who proclaim the name of Jesus to rise up in these challenging days.  Watch the movies if you can–you will not be disappointed.

Have a beautiful night with your families.  May the Almighty Father envelop you all with His amazing grace tonight.
