This little darling of ours. Remember these pictures? They were the first pictures I ever shared of our precious Hasya (a Hebrew word that means “have mercy” or “take refuge”).
She languished.
ABANDONED in a crib for almost fifteen years!
She couldn’t sit up for even a few seconds (it was terrifying after being on her back for so many years). She couldn’t hold her head up at all. She could hardly move her stiff joints due to the contractures.
THAT was then…
THIS is now…
With ridiculous courage and an inner strength my heart cannot fathom…
…she’s getting stronger every day!
With such joy.
And tenacity.
And a heart that never, ever gives up!
Our precious little OVERCOMER!
The one who teaches me every day that God’s Word is TRUTH.
We truly can do ALL things through Him who gives us strength (Phil 4:13).
