I cannot even begin to tell you all how much I appreciate you helping me to encourage these families who are fundraising for their adoptions! I could never, ever do it alone. I have to say that the people who read here are just so amazing–you guys inspire me each and every day to be a better mom, a better wife, and a better servant of the Lord. I appreciate you all more than you can ever know. Every single time I bring a need here to my blog, you literally pour out your hearts–for a child, a need, or a family urgently needing funds. You guys get it…you really do!
From the bottom of my heart…thank you. You are truly amazing people of a mighty God.
The encouragement that these families have received just by you going and reading their stories is worth far more than any money. Really. Some of them have felt completely let down by friends, families, and even their churches as they have stepped out to bring their child home. Sadly, it happens a lot. Some people just don’t get it. They don’t understand how we can bring a child we do not know into our families. And even more sadly…many churches just do not embrace adoption! So, thank you for taking the time to read their blogs and pray for their families. If you have time, leaving a short note on their blogs would be such a lovely encouragement. Sometimes the road to bringing our children home from faraway lands can be so very lonely.
I wanted to let you know that I have added a few extra prizes to this post. There are also a couple of shop owners who are willing to donate the profits of their sales to a fundraising family of your choice. Please go and take a look and support them if you can.
Also, many of the families listed there have come back and personally left notes (in the comments) to those who have contributed to their adoption funds. So sweet. Just in case you missed a note which was directed to you, go and read the comments.
