The ban on all Russian adoptions has broken many of our hearts. We have seen this happen with too many countries.
Many families have already traveled to Russia, met their sweet children, promised them they would return…and have now been told they cannot continue with their adoptions! Most of these children have special needs. Some have dire medical needs.
And they are stuck! Without families. Without hope.
It’s truly heartbreaking.
I know that there are families who are fighting hard and have taken this issue to our government–begging for intervention.
I have seen a few e-mails and Facebook updates going around with places where we, as people who would love to come alongside these families and have our voices be heard, can sign petitions and write letters to our senators and congressmen.
