would you love to share your story?

A few days ago I mentioned on Facebook (and you are more than welcome to follow me there) that I had it on my heart to do a celebrating special needs post again.

With all the beautiful and amazing children I have been sharing with you recently (and there are more to come very soon!), I have received so many e-mails.  Most asking the same thing…

~~~  How do you know if you can handle “special needs”?
~~~  How does raising a child who struggles in life affect your family?

~~~  What about our other children?
I have shared so much about our own family and what God has done in the lives of all of us.  But sometimes it is so wonderful to read about the journeys other people have walked.  I love learning from other people’s perspectives.  Reading about how God has changed families just like us from the inside out encourages my own heart so much.
And reading about how others see their precious children as a blessing, not a hardship, blesses me beyond words.
So. If you are raising a child (biological or adopted) who has any kind of special need and you would love to share your heart here on my blog, would you please e-mail me?
This is what I need:
~~~  I’m looking for beautiful pictures (one or two) of your children who have any kind of “special need” (it would be really nice to have mom or dad in the pictures too).  Please make sure the pictures you send me are quite large.

~~~  Please share your heart in a short paragraph (10-20 sentences) about what your child/children mean in your life, how they have changed you, how raising them has impacted your life, or anything else you would love to share.
Email me your story at [email protected].
If you know of anyone else who you think may be willing to share their story, please pass this on to them–the more, the better.  I will share every story I get.  There is such power in a testimony!
***  Just to give everyone a chance, please can I ask that only those who were not featured in either this post or this one send me their story this time.  Thanks!
